DIN 965 Countersunk (CSK) Pozidriv Machine Screw Technical Datasheet
DIN 965 Pozidriv Countersunk Head Machine Screw (Cross Recess Type Z)
DIN 965 Pozidriv Countersunk Head Machine Screws are metric machine screws featuring a 90° countersunk (flat) head with a Pozidriv (Type Z) cross recess drive. The countersunk head sits flush with the surface after installation, while the Pozidriv drive offers improved torque transmission, reduced cam-out, and better driver engagement compared to conventional Phillips drives.
Although DIN 965 has been superseded by ISO 7046-1, it remains widely specified in machinery, electrical equipment, furniture, sheet metal fabrication, automation systems, and industrial assemblies. Pozidriv variants are especially popular in Europe where higher tightening torque and reduced driver slippage are desired.
